Coin Peek needs no sign-up and no exchange account. Your watchlist and holdings stay on your computer.
Stored on your computer
The following is stored on your computer with electron-store.
- Watchlist coins (exchange and ticker) and their order
- Amounts and average prices
- Panel position, monitor and left or right edge
- Language and whether the welcome screen was shown
Network requests
- Prices: requests go directly to the public market data APIs of Upbit (
api.upbit.com) and Binance (data-api.binance.vision, falling back toapi.binance.com). Requests contain only the tickers being looked up. - Update checks: GitHub Releases is checked for new versions.
- Daily user count: once a day the app downloads a 1-byte file from the GitHub release. Nothing is sent; only the download count is tallied.
The app contains no analytics or advertising SDKs.
